Anne Arundel County has recently released two draft plans, with direct implications for Annapolis, for public comment.
The first, the Parole Town Center Draft Master Plan, aims to transition the area into a more walkable, bikeable and transit-oriented community and to mitigate the auto-dominant character of its development. The second, the County's Vision Zero Plan, has a chief goal of a dramatic reduction in traffic and pedestrian fatalities in Annapolis and Anne Arundel County through a variety of roadway safety measures including improved conditions for bicyclists and pedestrians.
