In the last 72 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 289 calls for service and arrested 15 people.

Armed Robbery – 201600005554 – Clay St at Calvert St – 12/15 at 7pm:  The adult male victim reported that two adult male suspects approached him and asked for change for a 20 dollar bill.  The victim gave them change and they walked away.  The suspects turned around and walked back to the victim.  One of the suspects struck the victim with a gun knocking him to the ground.  Both suspects went through the victim’s pockets and took jewelry and money.  The victim was taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Burglary – 201600005555 – Unit block of Woodlawn Av – 12/15 at 5pm to 12/16 at 7am:  The home was entered through an unlocked window, but nothing appears to be stolen.

Attempted Theft from Vehicle – 201600005557 – 1200 block of Madison St – 12/15 at 6:30pm to 12/16 at 10am:  An unlocked vehicle was entered, but nothing was stolen.  The vehicle owner also reported that overnight on 12/02 the unlocked vehicle was entered and money was stolen.

Attempted Vehicle Theft – 201600005559 – 900 block of Forest Dr – 12/15 from 1am to 1:30am:  The ignition was damaged on an unlocked vehicle, but it was not stolen.

Attempted Theft from Vehicle – 201600005566 – Unit block of Hampton Ct – 12/16 at 9pm:  An observant caller reported seeing an adult male suspect trying vehicle door handles and opening the door of an unlocked vehicle in the area.  Officers responded but could not locate the suspect. 

Burglary – 201600005580 – 2000 block of West St – 12/17 at 11:45pm:  Officers responded for an intrusion alarm and found the door to the business shattered.  No suspects were located.

Stolen Vehicle – 201600005584 – 100 block of Quiet Waters Pl – 12/17 at 1:30pm to 12/18 at 11:15am:  A dark grey 2012 Honda CRV, MD reg.3BZ3862 , was stolen.

Burglary – 201600005586 – Unit block of Bens Dr – 12/05 at 6pm to 12/18 at 1:30pm:  A window was forced open and two televisions were stolen from the apartment. 

Attempted Burglary – 201600005591 – 700 block of Newtowne Dr – 12/19 at 1:10am:  The residents were sleeping when they heard a window in the home shatter.  When they went to investigate they saw an adult male suspect outside the home.  The man fled the area on a bicycle.  Officers searched the area, but did not locate the suspect.
