City of Annapolis Offices Closed for
Christmas Day and New Year’s Day
Annapolis, MD (December 17, 2020) City of Annapolis government offices will be closed on Thursday December 24, Friday December 25, 2020 in observance of Christmas and Friday, January 1, 2021 for New Year’s Day. The City cancelled permits for the annual New Year’s Eve celebration and fireworks in downtown.
Transit: Annapolis Transit will operate a regular weekday schedule on Christmas Eve (December 24) and New Year’s Eve (December 31) during the day. There is no transit service on December 25 and January 1, 2021.
Recreation and Parks: The Pip Moyer Recreation Center and the Stanton Center will both close at 6 p.m. on Dec. 24 and 31. Both locations will close on December 25 and January 1.
Refuse and Recycling Collection: Friday collections will occur on Saturday.
