In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 116 calls for service and arrested 3 people.
Theft from Vehicle – 201600005309 – Unit block of Janwall Ct – 11/30 at 6pm to 12/01 at 4:30am: A grey and orange Helly Hansen coat and a black duffel bag containing ski clothing were stolen from an apparently unlocked vehicle.
Found Gun – 201600005310 – 100 block of Woods Dr – 12/01 at :7:45am A resident found a handgun on the ground near the curb outside her home. She immediately called the police and officers recovered the loaded gun.
Theft from Vehicle – 201600005312 – 1400 block of Damsel La – 11/30 at 8:30pm to 12/01 at 6:15am: A brown Michael Kors wallet was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.
Theft from Vehicle – 201600005314 – 1000 block of Forest Hills Av – 11/30 at 3pm to 12/01 at 7:30am: Money was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.
Suspicious Activity – 201600005322 – 1000 block of Timber Creek Dr – 12/01 at 6:30pm: An observant caller reported seeing a man walking between homes in the neighborhood. Officers arrived and saw an adult male in the rear yard of a home. When officers approached he fled the area on foot. Numerous officers and police K9 searched the area but did not locate the man. Officers checked homes in the area and did not locate any with damage or signs of burglary.
Theft from Vehicle – 201600005323 – 900 block of Primrose Rd – 12/01 from 12:15am to 7:20pm: A Sprint tablet computer and an Apple iPad Air in a blue case were stolen from an apparently unlocked vehicle.
Attempted Theft from Vehicle – 201600005324 – 1100 block of August Dr – 11/30 at 8pm to 12/01 at 8:42pm: The night of November 30th an unlocked vehicle was entered but nothing was stolen from the vehicle. A surveillance camera in the area captured footage of two possibly juvenile male suspects entering the vehicle and checking door handles of other vehicles parked in the area.
Neighborhood Safety Meeting
The next Neighborhood Safety Meeting is scheduled for December 13th from 6:30pm to 8pm at Annapolis Police Headquarters located at 199 Taylor Av. This meeting is open to anyone who wishes to attend. We will be hosting a Not My Child heroin addiction presentation. Are you concerned that your child might be experimenting with drugs or addicted to drugs? Do you want to teach younger children to never start using? Are you looking for help with treatment? This presentation will include a panel of experts, questions from the audience are welcome.
