[ARCHIVED] Business Preparation for Tropical Storm Isaias

Dear City of Annapolis businesses:

Given the impending arrival of Tropical Storm Isaias, we ask that each business with an outdoor footprint (tables, displays, tents, etc) do the following:

1. Bring in any tables, chairs and umbrellas.

2. Collapse and bring in any tent equipment.

3. Bring in anything else that is not tied down (including planters, signage, promotional materials, etc.)

4. Prepare for the possibility of high winds, rain and potential flooding.

Please take these steps - AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

If you are located in a Recovery Zone: In preparation, the City of Annapolis will be removing and stacking some barricades throughout the Recovery Zones.  The City may also need to temporarily remove some parklets as necessary.  These actions are being taken to mitigate the potential effects of wind, rain and flood damage.

If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Annapolis Emergency Management at 410-216-9167.

If you had not previously signed up for CodeRED and would like to receive messages from the City of Annapolis, please go to alertannapolis.civicready.com.

Thank you and please stay safe!
