City Dock Action Committee guides the implementation of key recommendations in the Urban Land Institute’s (ULI) Technical Assistance Panel (TAP) report for City Dock that was commissioned by Historic Annapolis, Preservation Maryland and the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

The City Dock Action Committee will be assisted by “Working Teams,” a broad range of stakeholders and professionals volunteering their services.  The nine teams reflect the professional and technical expertise needed to implement ideas for the recommendations of ULI for City Dock.  The teams include:

  • Design/ Placemaking;
  • Financial Tools/Development;
  • Programming/Community Access;
  • Parking/Pedestrian and Bike Connections;
  • Maritime;
  • Resiliency;
  • Burtis House;
  • Business/Property Owners and Retail; and,
  • Community Benefits, Character and Livability.

These teams will be conducting community meetings, focus groups and stakeholder interviews. They will deliver an ‘Implementation Strategy” to the City Council this coming Fall with their recommendations for action items.
