The Community Development Division administers the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) for the City. CDBG is a federal grant the City provides to help low-income homeowners make repairs to their homes and provide social services to organizations that serve low-income populations in Annapolis.
We administer the City’s moderate income housing program, called the Moderately Priced Dwelling Unit (MPDU) program. MPDU requires that a portion of units in new residential developments be affordable.
Plus, we administer state programs which provide funds for homelessness and housing and community development projects and oversee the implementation of the Clay Street Revitalization Plan.
