A.L.E.R.T. an acronym for "Auto Larceny Education Reduces Theft," is a grant program that is funded by the Maryland Vehicle Theft Prevention Council.
It is designed to reduce vehicle theft and theft from vehicles through public awareness and education. The A.L.E.R.T. program is the umbrella for the following programs that are maintained by the Annapolis Police Department Community Services Unit:
