Public Works New Information or Highlights
  • Beginning July 1, 2019, Yard Trim will be collected on your regular collection day. You'll be able to set out your refuse, recycling, bulk items (3 max), and yard trim on the same day.
  • Recycling Contamination.  Recycling that is contaminated with film plastic, bagged recyclables, and plastic bags will not be collected and will be left at the curb.
  • Recycling Back to the Basics.  Only place these material in your blue recycling container: mixed paper, cardboard, plastic bottles, plastic containers, rigid plastic, aluminum and steel cans and beverage containers, glass bottles and jars.  Containers must be empty and clean.
  • Yard Trim Guidelines.  Yard Trim must be placed in green City carts, paper bags, or containers marked with an "X." Yard Trim placed at the curb in plastic bags will not be collected. Learn more on the Yard Trim Collection page.
