Throughout the year Annapolis Recreation and Parks (ARPD) seek volunteers to help make their programs possible and most importantly, successful. Whether through special events, programs or in facilities, there are many opportunities to get involved.
Please note: All volunteers working with children and patrons of ARPD must by background checked. Volunteer training is provided, and sometimes required, for the Department's programs and events.
Greenscape (Fall & Spring)
GreenScape is a volunteer effort that encourages and supports individuals and organizations to plant and maintain native gardens in public areas throughout the City of Annapolis. The City provides plant materials, mulch, trash bags and gloves; the community provides volunteers who want to make a difference in Annapolis. If you have any questions, please Email Marisa Wittlinger.
