How Does the Scholarship Program Work?

See how the Annapolis Recreation and Parks scholarship program works.

Approved individuals or families with no children (dependents) may be awarded a $100 account credit for scholarship per calendar year; families with children (dependents) may be granted an additional $25 for each person, but a $250 maximum per family.

The scholarship funds must be applied towards Annapolis Recreation and Parks Department *programs, memberships and pool passes. (Not valid for facility rentals, before/after school child care and "co-sponsored" or "co-partnered" programs.)  *Participant(s) must meet criteria for acceptance into programs or classes.

Applications are accepted until available scholarship funding is exhausted for the year. Unused scholarship account balances will be removed at the end of the calendar year and may not be carried over from one year to the next. Scholarships will be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis while funding is available.
