Fitness at PMRC
Fitness Class Schedule - Due to COVID-19, the number of participants in each class is reduced.
Outdoor fitness classes held on the outdoor basketball courts at PMRC:
- Tuesdays, 8 – 8:45 am, Boot Camp, led by Stacey Oliff
- Tuesdays, 9 – 10 am, Groove Ride, led by John Clifford
- Tuesdays, 11 am – 12 pm, Yogilates, led by Aimee Seal
- Thursdays, 11:30 am – 12:30 pm, Cardio Lunch Break, led by Leandra Parkinson
- Fridays, 9 – 10 am, Groove Ride, led by John Clifford
Please check in at the Front Desk inside before coming to an outdoor fitness class. As for indoor classes right now, there are limited spaces for outdoor classes. You will receive a space number from the Front Desk that you need to present to the instructor. Thank you for your cooperation.

PMRC Fitness Class Cancellations (indicated here when cancellations are known in advance). Please also refer to Annapolis Recreation and Parks Facebook, "Pip" Moyer Recreation Center Facebook and Twitter for any "last minute" cancellations or updates. Additionally, if you sign up to receive our weekly e-news, upcoming cancellations are mentioned there (when known in advance.)
PMRC is open at 50% capacity at this time and is open daily from 8 am to 8 pm. The Department remains vigilant in keeping PMRC clean. This includes disinfecting exercise equipment, the indoor track, meeting rooms, common areas and restrooms. While at PMRC, we ask that you remain 6’ apart from others to maintain physical distancing. Additional hand sanitizing stations have been installed throughout the facility. Due to COVID-19, all persons must comply with the following while at PMRC:
- receive a temperature check upon entry
- complete a brief questionnaire
- wear a face covering or mask at all times except while exercising
Located on Hilltop Lane in the Truxtun Park community of Annapolis, the fitness center at "Pip" Moyer Recreation Center (PMRC) offers cardio and strength training equipment to help you get an invigorating and successful workout. Our Fitness Specialists are available by appointment to help you learn about the equipment, prepare workout routines, aid you in your fitness goals and provide you with hands-on guidance as needed.
Fitness classes are included with 30-day, 90-day and Annual Memberships (and Punch Card Memberships when sold periodically as promotional efforts). Non-members may attend a fitness class by paying the daily Drop-In Fee: City of Annapolis Resident $15 and Non-Resident $19.
The most current Fitness Class Schedule can be found on our homepage by visiting the Recreation and Parks Department homepage and clicking on the schedule listed in the "Fitness Classes" section. (The one online is always more current than what it is in the quarterly program guide.)
Fitness classes are "drop in" style meaning you do not need to sign up for them or reserve space. However, popular classes like yoga fill up fast so we encourage you to arrive a few minutes before the start time for those.
