About the Recreation Advisory Board

The Annapolis Recreation and Parks advisory board consists of 11 residents of the City who have a demonstrated interest in the activities and programs of the Department. They act in an advisory capacity to the Department to make recommendations concerning the Department’s budget, activities, programs, facilities, and public relations. Members are appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by a majority vote of the City Council. Members serve three-year terms. The Recreation and Parks Director serves as ex-officio, non-voting member of the board.

Recreation Advisory Board meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month at 7 pm at the "Pip" Moyer Recreation Center located at 273 Hilltop Lane in Annapolis.
