Pump out Boat

The Harbormaster’s Office operates the Pump out Boat.  This summer the boat is in service 5 days a week starting May 1st through the middle of November: Wednesday through Sunday, from 9 am until 3:30 pm, weather permitting. From mid November until late March, the vessel operates on Wednesday and Saturday, from 8:00 am until 2:30pm, weather permitting.

To schedule a pump out, call out on VHF 17 during service hours and provide your location, vessel name, approximate amount of gallons to be pumped off, and your vessel will be placed in the queue. The charge is $5 per tank, up to 50 gallons. Anything beyond that is an additional $1 per tank for every 10 gallons.

Operations

The vessel can be contacted on VHF 17 and via mobile at 410-320-6852. Check this page later for possible changes in the schedule. It is best to contact the pump out boat as early as possible during the service day. The boat begins service in Spa Creek, heads to Weems Creek, services Back Creek afternoon, and then returns to Spa Creek for the end of the service day.

Additional Pump out Stations

Be advised that it is illegal to discharge untreated waste effluent into Annapolis City Waters. Aside from our popular pump out service, boaters may also utilize subsidized pump out stations located at private marinas in Annapolis area waters.
