The Harbormaster's Office operates the Pumpout Boat, Dahlgren. This vessel is a hybrid, diesel-electric-solar, welded, aluminum boat. The boat is in service 7 days a week approximately from the middle of March through the middle of November. The rest of the year the vessel operates only on Saturday, weather permitting.
During this time, call the office to provide your location, vessel name, approximate amount of gallons to be pumped off, and your vessel will be placed in the queue. The charge is $5 per tank, up to 50 gallons. Anything beyond that is an additional $1 per tank for every 10 gallons.
The vessel can be contacted on VHF 17 and via mobile at 410-320-6852 and you can view the current hours of operation. It is best to contact Dahlgren
as early as possible during the service day. The boat begins service in
Spa Creek, heads to Weems Creek, services Back Creek after noon, and
then returns to Spa Creek for the end of the service day.
Additional Pumpout Stations
advised that it is illegal to discharge untreated waste effluent into
Annapolis City Waters. Aside from our popular pumpout service, boaters
may also utilize subsidized pumpout stations located at private marinas in Annapolis area waters.
