Alex for Chalk Your Walk

A challenge to Chalk Your Walk was put out in Eastport and Alex did a great job of writing a message in front of his house for the First Responders to see.  Thank you Alex!

On Friday, February 7, 2020, the Annapolis Fire Department held a Graduation Ceremony for Recruit Class 59.  Acting Mayor Rhonda Pindell Charles welcomed everyone before swearing-in and congratulating them as they received their certificates.  Acting Chief Caroll H. Spriggs, II, who was the keynote speaker, pinned the newly graduated firefighters.  The address was given by Class Representative Firefighter Amanda B. Hoxter. Invocation and Benediction were given by AFD Chaplain Vincent Leggett and Master of Ceremonies was Firefighter First Class, Kenneth White. Newly graduated personnel are Firefighter Erich J. Goetz, Firefighter Jacob J. Haskell, Firefighter Amanda B. Hoxter, Firefighter Stefan L. Livingston, Firefighter Matthew J. Montgomery, and Firefighter Sharonda L. Spriggs.
