An Annapolis native, with an extensive background in community service. She reflects the lived experience with her grandmother being Rosalie Mitchelle, a respected and staple community leader in her day, who the Eastport Community Center is affectionately named after in her honor. She learned from her firsthand the importance of knowing your rights and advocating for your community.
Her role is to coordinate schedules for non-profits organizations to utilize the space of the resource centers to offer their services to the residents. In addition, she devotes her time as a mentor to our teen girls and the women in the communities and she fiercely serves as a liaison supporting and representing them.
Erica is a trusted facilitator, with a mission to ensure the concerns of the community are being heard and their needs are being met with resources that are equitably distributed. She knows the importance of having such representation coming from various socioeconomic backgrounds and effectively offers her unique skills of peer support, perspective, and diverse leadership to all residents in our city.
Erin Lee is a licensed social worker in the state of Maryland. Prior to her work in the City of Annapolis, Lee worked in therapeutic foster care in Baltimore City, with special needs children and their families in Howard and Anne Arundel counties, and as a service coordinator for seniors in Washington DC. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Morgan State University and a Masters in Social Work from the University of Maryland - Baltimore.
