One Annapolis

Annapolis offers something special, remarkable, historic, and stunning around every corner. As Mayor, I have the privilege of seeing and celebrating it all each and every day. It's my task to share it with everyone who visits here or calls Annapolis home.

Doing Business

One of the priorities of my administration is to ensure that business continues to thrive. We encourage residents to support local business in Annapolis and to lift up small business owners, the lifeblood of our local economy.

The City took a different approach to addressing disparities exposed by the COVID-19 pandemic. We created a bilingual health education outreach team that targets our most affected communities by working directly in our neighborhoods.

Sustainability and Resiliency

In a City that is as prone to coastal flooding as Annapolis, resiliency and sustainability must be a key priority. We are tackling these issues head on and working to make Annapolis a model City for sustainability and resiliency.

Public Safety

As Mayor, I want all residents to feel safe in their neighborhoods and have access to City amenities, resources and opportunities. To achieve these goals, we are working in partnership with residents, nonprofits, church groups and businesses to innovate and problem-solve.

Investing in Neighborhoods

We want to ensure that we continue to make investments in all wards of the City. The Mayor's office conducts "One Block at a Time" neighborhood walks, works with community nonprofits on grants and investments, and prioritizes public art and water access.

Creating safe alternatives to cars is a Smart City initiative that benefits all residents. when more people use pedestrial trails, bicycles and ride shares, fewer cars are on the road thereby reducing pollution and easing traffic congestion.
