Meeting with Community and Neighborhood Associations

On Thursday, January 23rd, the Planning Team convened with the presidents of and other key representatives from the City’s many community and neighborhood associations at the "Pip" Moyer Recreation Center. City staff provided an overview of the Comprehensive Plan update and process, and participants were asked to provide their input on goals and strategies as well as performance measures for the Comprehensive Plan. Additionally, meeting participants nominated themselves for a citizen planning committee dubbed the Nitty-Gritty Committee (more on that later), and requested we attend their meetings for a deeper dive into the issues.
