Working Groups
Another component of the Comprehensive Plan update is a series of working groups that will focus in refined detail on pressing themes.
These themes - Resiliency, Affordable Housing, and Healthy Communities - fit seamlessly into the content and framework of the plan.
The groups will be made up of experts in related fields, resident stakeholders, and representatives from City staff working on relevant issues. Over the course of each working group, the participants will dive deep in brainstorming and discussing the array of factors influencing the respective topic. Eventually this collaborative process will inform a series of strategies to incorporate into the Comprehensive Plan. These strategies will be accompanied by performance measures and targets to ensure we achieve them as intended.
Each working group will run in succession, not in conjunction with one another, with the first being the Resilience working group.
