Presentations and Supporting Documents

Public education and community engagement are important elements of the Annapolis Weather It Together initiative.  In January of 2014 the City of Annapolis was recognized  for “Excellence in Community Engagement” by the Maryland Historical Trust .  In 2016, Annapolis was named a one of 10 cities in the US for Leadership in Resiliency by the National League of Cities.  Throughout the years, Weather It Together team members have continued to gather and share important information with the community.

Below residents, businesses and preservation stakeholders can view presentations from public meetings coordinated by the City's Weather It Together core team. This includes monthly/bi-monthly presentations to inform stakeholders and community about the impacts of rising tides, storm surge, and sea level rise.

Here you will also find sample presentations given by the Weather It Together technical team members to share our knowledge with others.  Much of the Weather It Together work has been funded by federal, state and non-profit grants that encourage information sharing with others to continue grant funding.  The core and technical teams members help educate local, state, national, and international communities about the City of Annapolis efforts to prepare, adapt, and mitigate the effects rising tides and storm surge on our historic national landmark district community.

Presentations and supporting documents from both City provided presentations and presentations from outside sources.
