Annapolis Recreation and Parks welcomes Summer!

On Sunday, June 21, 2009 – 200 local youth participated in the third annual Truxtun Youth Triathlon. These young athletes swam, biked, and ran their little hearts out. Congratulations to each and every one of the participants.  We would like to extend an extra special thank you to our volunteers!   We could not have done it without you. Results are posted here

Despite the early closure due to the wet weather, we had several hundred attendees at the TRI-iT Fun Festival on Saturday, June 20th. Over 25 games, sports and activities were set up for families to TRI.   The goal of this day was to get kids (and adults) out and active.  Thank you to our co-sponsor ~ Chesapeake Family Magazine and to all the businesses who came out to support this event.

Don’t forget the Truxtun Park Pool is OPEN for swimming. Click here for times and fees.  There are also a few spaces left in many of our summer camps.   Keep healthy, safe and active this summer – sign up today. Click here for details
