Arrest Made in Triple Stabbing

Members of the Annapolis Police Department arrested 25 year old Marcus Levon Freeman this evening at approximately 8:15p.m..  Freeman is charged with multiple crimes including one count of Attempted 2nd Degree Murder and three counts of 1st Degree Assault in connection with a triple stabbing that occurred inside an apartment the 700 block of Newtowne Drive today at 3:05p.m. 

One male victim, age 20, was stabbed in the chest and was transported to Prince Georges Trauma Center.  A female victim, age 18, was transported by AFD with a stab wound to her leg.  A 2nd male victim age 18 arrived on his own at AAMC with a stab wound to his leg.   All victims sustained non-life threatening injuries.

 Marcus Freeman is currently being held at the Anne Arundel County Detention Center on $1,250,000 bond.

Detectives continue to investigate this incident and a motive is not known at this time.
