New Tailor is “Sew” in Touch with Today’s Fashion Needs

Annapolis, MD (6-12-12) Annapolis Mayor Joshua J. Cohen and Annapolis Economic Development Corporation President and CEO Lara Fritts are pleased to announce AIB Custom Tailor’s grand opening.

AIB Custom Tailor, located at  180 Main Street, Suite 101, in Annapolis, specializes in a variety of synthetic, woven and natural fabrics, supplying global clients with top-quality materials at a value that they can pass on to their customers. AIB Custom Tailor has years of experience importing and exporting top quality fabrics at competitive prices.

AIB Custom Tailor is owned and operated by Abdoulaye Diallo. Mr. Diallo has more than 30 years experience as a tailor. He has worked for 12 years with Nordstrom and eight years Neiman Marcus. He has owned distinctive tailor shops for ten years. Mr. Diallo specializes in political and celebrity clientele. 

“Formal attire in Annapolis can mean khakis and a jacket or a black tie and tux,” Mayor Josh Cohen said. “That’s the beauty of having shops that adjust to the needs of the community and cater to the customer, giving the individual exactly what they want. It’s part of our enduring appeal.”

The grand opening and ribbon cutting will take place Wednesday, June 13 at 11:00 a.m. at the tailor shop.

“This is a one-stop-shop for custom fashion,” President and CEO of the Annapolis Economic Development Corporation Lara Fritts said.  “They offer custom suits for men and women and apparel along with monogramming and alterations. I am glad to welcome AIB Custom Tailor to Annapolis.”
