Street Paving Schedule Available on City’s Website

Annapolis, MD (3-28-12) Annapolis Mayor Joshua J. Cohen announces street resurfacing and condition information for upcoming projects is now available online.

Each year, the City completes a street resurfacing project during the summer months.  Streets are chosen for resurfacing based on the condition of the street, average daily traffic and engineering judgment.

In 2009, the City of Annapolis, through a third-party agency, conducted a pavement evaluation on each section the City maintains. Based on the results, each street section was assigned a remaining road surface life (RSL).  This evaluation is used as part of the City's street management system to determine this year’s projects.
