Annapolis Police Department Still Looking for Wanted Robbery Suspect

Almost a year has passed since an arrest warrant was issued for Jesse James Elder. Elder was identified as one of the suspects who robbed a gas station employee as he was about to walk the business’s deposit into a bank.

On December 23, 2010 at 2:55 p.m., the victim had just exited his vehicle and was walking toward the Capital One Bank, located in the 500 block of South Cherry Grove Avenue. As he approached the bank, a vehicle stopped and two men dressed in all dark clothing exited the vehicle and they demanded the money bag from the victim. The victim dropped the bag and then attempted to pick it up and run into the bank when one of the males placed his hand in his coat and implied he was armed. The suspects took the bag and fled in a vehicle which was being driven by a third male. Detectives were able to identify the owner of vehicle which led to the identity of Mr. Elder.

Mr. Elder is 36 years old, 6’2”, 230 lbs and has black hair and brown eyes. Elder’s last known address is in Annapolis but he may be staying in Baltimore City.  Elder also has ties to Florida.
