New Transit Fares
New transit fares will go into effective on April 30, 2012. The basic one-way cash fare will increase from $1.50 to $2.00. Different types of transit pass (day, weekly, monthly, annual passes) with unlimited rides will still be available to purchase. Again, there will be no transfers. Instead, transit users are encouraged to buy a day pass for $4.00 for unlimited rides.

| Child Fare (5 years old and under) | Free | Children 5 years old and under ride for free when accompanied by a paying adult. |
| Tokens in Bulk | $150.00 per 100 | Used for community promotions, non-profit organizations by prior agreement |
| ADA service cash fare | $4.00 | Paratransit Mobility Service Route. For special curb-to-curb transportation services, provided only to those certified to be unable to use fixed route services |
| Senior/ADA/Student | $1.00 | Seniors 60 years or older, persons with disabilities and Medicare Card holders, students. Valid picture ID with birth date required. |
| Summer Youth Pass | When schools are closed

| Requires current year school-issued ID or suitable identification photo. Allows riders between 12 and 18 unlimited rides between June 16 and Labor Day of the purchasing year. |

FYI
- MTA ride checks are accepted only at bus stops also served by the MTA.
- Passes may be purchased at the following places:
- Day Passes: on the buses, Annapolis Transit at 308 Chinquapin Round Road, City Hall (Finance Dept.) at 160 Duke of Gloucester St.
- All other passes: Annapolis Transit and City Hall.
- There is no additional charge for using the bike racks.
