What is Free Wheelin'?
A bike loan program that offers daily bike "rentals" for a small fee.
Where can I get one of these bikes?
At the Harbor Master's office at City Dock, seven days a week, 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. May 28 through October 1.
Can anyone sign out a bike?
Anyone 18 or older, showing a photo ID and credit card.
How much does it cost?
Bicycle rental is $5.00. In addition you must show a photo ID, credit card and sign a waiver.
How long can I keep the bike?
Bikes must be returned by 8:00 p.m. unless otherwise arranged with the Harbormaster office.
What if I can't get the bike back by 8:00 p.m. or what if I have a problem with it?
In case of an emergency, lock the bike where you are and call 410-263-7973 with the address or street and a landmark to identify where the bike was left. Individuals will be charged a fee for any bike that is not returned/if the program is not notified of its whereabouts.
Hey, Free Wheelers, rode too far out? Tired?
All Free Wheelin' customers may ride any Annapolis Transit bus for free. All buses are equipped with bike racks.
