Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County Awards a $10,000 "Ladders to Success" Grant - March 1, 2012
With this grant, the Stanton Center's After-School Homework Club will provide a new reading and math component for the more than 35 neighborhood students who attend the After-School Homework Club each week day. This new component will help students raise their reading and math skills up to grade level through the use of Smart Board technology and a curriculum that parallels their in-school experiences.

Members of the Calvary United Methodist Church congregation spent one weekend last October re-painting the gym at the Stanton Community Center. Many thanks to the volunteers that helped spruce up the facility! The CUMC volunteers are pictured to the right.
