Accolades
From Chip Wilson, "On behalf of Velocity Volleyball, I would like to thank Katy Owings and the staff of the "Pip" Moyer Recreation Center for our very successful and well-run event. Katy did a careful and caring job of setting up our reservations, making it the right facility for our needs, and making sure everything was ready before we arrived. Once there, the front desk was pleasant and helpful, and the athletic assistants did a great job of setting up and taking down the nets on time. This was the most successful and best organized Homecoming Tournament we have ever had. It is because of your beautiful facility and your great staff that made this so successful! Thank you for allowing us to hold our Tournament with you, and for being such great people to work with."
From the winner of the Wii-Fit during the TRI-iT Fun Festival in June 2010, "Thank You! We are so excited to be the winners fo the Wii and Wii Fit - fun for the whole family. We were inspired by the TRI-iT day that we decided to put our gym membership to use. The little ones enjoyed the babysitting in the Kidz Zone while Mom took a much needed Yoga class for stress reduction. Also, at TRI-iT (Fun Festival) we learned about Soccer Tots -- we'll be sure to try them out. Again, thank you!" -- The O'Leary Family
Sent in an e-mail to Kids Camp Assistant Director and Swim Instructor Jenny Rahorn, "I wanted to thank you (and all of the counselors) who did the summer kids camp this year. Anya had a terrific time and from a parents perspective it was great too. Anya made such huge progress swimming this summer -- I'm so impressed!" -- Claudia Reshetiloff
PMRC member Geraldine Lowe shared, in person, her positive experiences, "my husband and I joined in January. We walk the track and lift weights at least four times a week. During the summer months walking along the indoor track, we've watched the dynamics of the kids in the basketball camp down below in the gym. It's fascinating to see the progression from Monday to Friday... coming here is like seeing friends... it's such a family atmosphere... the girls at the front desk are sweethearts."
