Annapolis Watershed Action Plan
The First Urban Watershed Forum in Annapolis was held at the Annapolis City Council Chambers on Monday, February 9, 2009.
The first Urban Watershed Forum has provided briefings regarding the Annapolis Watershed Action Plan and the future partnerships that will be necessary between the federal, state and county governments and our private and volunteer neighbors in order to fund future environmental restoration efforts around Annapolis.
By combining four watersheds flowing into a state-designated Scenic River as part of the Annapolis Watershed Action Plan, the City is in a position to create a unique approach to preserving and enhancing water quality in a built-out urban environment adjacent to the Chesapeake Bay.
Below are photogalleries of the areas discussed in the report. Also, the City of Annapolis Watershed Study and Action Plan is included.
