APD Daily Report 08/06/14

In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 122 calls for service and arrested 3 people.

Theft from Vehicle – 201400003945 – 100 block of Brewer Av – 08/05 from 2:15pm to 3:25pm:  Three black Direct TV Raymarine HD receivers were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Theft from Vehicle – 201400003948 – Unit block of Silverwood Cir – 08/05 from 3:30pm to 4pm:  A wallet was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Burglary – 201400003951 – 700 block of Childs Point Rd – 08/03 at 10pm to 08/05 at 7pm:  A dark blue mountain bicycle with a black cable lock wrapped around the seat post was stolen from an open garage. 

Theft of Bicycle – 201400003953 – 200 block of Old Solomons Island Rd – 08/05 from 4pm to 9pm:  A light blue Raleigh road bicycle with black lettering, narrow tires, straight handlebars, and black foot straps on the pedals was stolen from a bike rack.  The bicycle was secured to the rack with a cable lock.

Burglary – 201400003954 – 1100 block of Pinemont Pl – 07/31 at 8pm to 08/05 at 9:25pm:  After entering an unlocked patio door a Nikon DSLR camera, a Sony PlayStation 3 game console, and a vacuum cleaner were stolen. 

Watch Your Bike Program – Now Register Online!
In July, 21 bicycles were reported stolen in Annapolis.  The Annapolis Police Department has a Watch Your Bike program.  The program records your bicycle's serial number, manufacturer, and color in our database.  Contact Cpl. Cops on Rooftops
On Sunday, August 17th police officers from Annapolis Police Department will take to the roof of Dunkin Donuts at 2004 West St to raise money for the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Maryland.  From 6 a.m. to 12 p.m. Special Olympics Athletes and officers will collect donations from customers.  Customers who donate may receive treats from Dunkin Donuts ranging from a free donut to a free dozen donuts.

No Citizen Fingerprinting in August
The Annapolis Police Department will not be conducting citizen fingerprinting in August.  Citizen fingerprinting will resume Monday, September 8 at 5pm.
