APD Daily Report 06/27/14

In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 113 calls for service and arrested 5 people.

Theft of Bicycle – 201400003171 – Unit block of West St – 06/25 from 5pm to 8:15pm:  A secured turquoise and black BMX style bicycle was stolen from the rear of the business.

Theft of Bicycle – 201400003175 – 900 block of Poplar Av – 06/25 at 9:15pm:  An observant citizen reported several juveniles on bicycles in the area trying vehicle door handles.  When officers arrived in the area a caller reported that a bicycle had just been stolen from the front yard of a home.  Officers located two of the juveniles, a 14 year old boy and a 13 year old boy, both from Annapolis, and the stolen bicycle.  Both boys were charged with theft and released to their guardians.

Theft of Bicycle – 201400003180 – 100 block of Spa Dr – 06/25 at 6am to 06/26 at 6am:  An orange Cannondale with black handlebars and pedals and a small tool bag under the seat was stolen from an attached garage.  The garage door was left open during the day.
