APD Daily Report 05/21/14

In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 95 calls for service and arrested 11 people.

Good News – On 05/20 the stolen red 2012 Toyota Camry was recovered.  The owner saw his vehicle being driven on West St, he followed his vehicle, but then lost sight of it on Clay St.  He called the police and officers were able to locate the stolen vehicle, parked and unoccupied, in the unit block of West Washington St.  The clothing items stolen from the vehicle on Berwick Dr were found inside the Toyota.  Other possibly stolen items were located inside the Toyota. 

Theft from Vehicle – 201400002476 – Truxtun Park – 05/02 at 12pm to 05/19 at 7am:  Four to six road safety flares were stolen from an unlocked bus.

Theft from Vehicle – 201400002497 – 900 block of Berwick Dr – 05/17 at 7pm to 05/19 at 11:30pm:  Over $2,000 worth of clothing was stolen from a vehicle.  This clothing was found inside the recovered stolen Toyota Camry.

Burglary – 201400002506 – Unit block of Ironstone Ct – 05/20 from 11am to 8:45pm:  An Xbox 360 with one controller and an Apple iPad in a pink case were stolen after the home was entered through an unlocked ground floor window.

Burglary – 201400002508 – 1900 block of Moreland Pkwy – 05/20 at 9:15pm:  The front glass door to the business was shattered, but nothing appeared to have been stolen from the business.

Attempted Burglary – 201400002510 – 1900 block of West St – 05/20 at 11:55pm:  The drive thru window to the business was forced open, but no one was able to enter the business.

Annapolis Traffic Delays Expected May 21 and 23
