APD Daily Report 02/20/14

In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 91 calls for service and arrested 5 people.

Theft from Vehicle – 201400000809 – 200 block of Hilltop La – 02/17 at 11pm to 02/18 at 8am:  A wallet was stolen from the passenger’s seat of an unlocked vehicle.

Burglary – 201400000811 – Unit block of Bens Dr – 02/14 at 4pm to 02/18 at 4pm:  The back door to a vacant apartment was forced open.  Nothing was taken from the apartment.

Burglary – 201400000823 – 100 block of Prince George St – 02/16 at 7:30pm to 02/17 at 3pm:  A silver 13” Apple MacBook Air was stolen from a home.

Theft from Vehicle – 201400000829 – 1300 block of Forest Dr – 02/14 at 5:20pm to 02/19 at 2:30pm:  An Apple iPad was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Attempted Burglary – 201400000832 – 1800 block of Copeland St – 02/19 from 8:30am to 6pm:  Someone attempted to force open the front door to the home, but did not get in.

Help Us Identify
On 12/03/2013 the below pictured suspect stole a vehicle battery in the 1800 block of George Av.  When the suspect was confronted by the business owner he threw a concrete brick at the owner and fled the area in the pictured vehicle.  If you have any information about this incident please contact Detective Chuck Bealefeld at 410-268-9000 ext. 7299 or cebealefeld@annapolis.gov


On 02/02 and 02/08 counterfeit American Express Travelers Cheques were used at a business in the 200 block of Old Solomons Island Rd.  The two female subjects pictured below are suspects in these cases.  If you have any information about the identity of either woman please contact Detective Chuck Bealefeld at 410-268-9000 ext. 7299 or cebealefeld@annapolis.gov
