APD Daily Report 12/30/13

In the last 72 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 232 calls for service and arrested 29 people.

Stolen Vehicle – 201300006296 – 1300 block of Tyler Av – 12/26 at 7:30pm to 12/27 at 6am:  A gold 1996 Honda Accord, MD reg. 7AW4009, was stolen from in front of a home.

Theft from Vehicle – 201300006305 – 100 block of Victor Pkwy – 12/26 at 8pm to 12/27 at 11am:  Money was stolen from an apparently unlocked vehicle.

Stabbing – 201300006319 – 100 block of Main St – 12/27 at 11:50pm:  Larry Mason, 33, of Annapolis was arrested for cutting an adult male victim with a box cutter.  Witnesses told officers that Mason and the victim were fighting when Mason cut the victim in the chest.  The victim was driven to Baltimore Shock Trauma and was listed in critical condition.  Mason is charged with attempted first and second degree murder, first degree assault, reckless endangerment, two counts of carrying a concealed weapon, and two counts of carrying a weapon with intent to injure.  Mason is being held without bond at the Jennifer Road Detention Center.

Burglary – 201300006322 – Unit block of Franklin St – 12/28 at 1:15am:  Officers and firefighters responded to a home for the fire and burglar alarms sounding.  When they arrived they found a front window had been broken.  Inside the home they found Nathan Cummings, 30, of Crownsville asleep in a chair.  The owner of the home was out of town and told officers she does not know Cummings and he did not have permission to be in her home.  Cummings was arrested and charged with third and fourth degree burglary, malicious destruction of property, and resisting arrest.  Cummings was released by the District Court Commissioner.

Theft from Vehicle – 201300006341 – 1000 block of Beech St – 12/28 at 8pm to 12/29 at 1:30pm:  Money was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Burglary – 201300006344 – 1400 block of Hunting Wood Rd – 12/28 at 8:15am to 12/29 at 11pm:  The front door to the home was forced open and jewelry and an Xbox game console were stolen.
