APD Daily Report 12/12/13

In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 88 calls for service and arrested 16 people.

Armed Robbery – 201300006087 – 1100 block of Madison St – 12/12 at 1:45am:  The adult male victim was walking out of an apartment building when he was approached by three men.  One of the men had a gun.  The victim was struck in the face and his cell phone and money were taken.  The suspects fled the area and the victim started walking home.  When he reached Tyler Av he flagged down a passing police car to report the robbery.  The victim had an injury to his lip, but refused medical attention.

Toy Drive
The Annapolis Police Department is hosting a toy drive this week, December 9 through 13, at the Department’s Headquarters at 199 Taylor Avenue.  New, unwrapped toys can be dropped off in the parking lot without getting of your car during the hours of 7am to 9am and 3pm to 6pm daily.  The toys will be given to the Annapolis Santa Run.  For more information about the Annapolis Santa Run visit www.annapolissantarun.com.
