APD Daily Report 06/05/13

In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 79 calls for service and arrested 7 people.


Theft from Vehicle – 201300002504 – 400 block of Fox Hollow La – 05/31 at 9:30pm to 06/01 at 11am:  Eight dollars was taken from an unlocked vehicle.   

Theft of Bicycle – 201300002558 – 1800 block of Bowman Dr – 06/04 from 1am to 11am:  An unlocked blue Schwinn bicycle was stolen from the rear of the residence.    

Theft from Vehicle – 201300002563 – 1300 block of Hawkins La – 05/29 at 7:30pm to 05/30 at 10am:  The glove box and center console of an apparently unlocked vehicle was rummaged through, but nothing was taken.  Gasoline was siphoned from the vehicle’s tank.


Special Olympics Torch Run

Come out today and cheer Special Olympics athletes as they join Annapolis Police Officers for the annual Special Olympics Torch Run.  The Torch Run begins at 2pm at the City Dock and ends at the World War II Memorial by the Naval Academy Bridge.  Roads downtown will be closed on a rolling basis as the officers and athletes move through the area.

Neighborhood Watch Meeting

The next Neighborhood Watch meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 11 from 7pm to 8:30pm at Annapolis Police Headquarters, 199 Taylor Av.  Topics for the evening will include Internet safety tips and National Night Out.  Food will be served so please RSVP to Sgt.
