APD Daily Report 05/03/13

In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 90 calls for service and arrested 5 people.


Theft from Vehicle – 201300001961 – Unit block of Amos Garrett Blvd – 05/01 at 2pm:  Nineteen year old Rodell Pinkney of Annapolis was arrested when a citizen saw him take a cell phone from the center console of a vehicle.  Pinkney was seen entering the vehicle, which was left with the windows down and doors unlocked.  Officers located Pinkney in the unit block of Steele Av, the cell phone was found on the ground in the same area.  Pinkney was charged with theft under $100 and released.  


DUI Saturation
The Annapolis Police Department will have extra officers on patrol specifically looking for impaired drivers this Cinco de Mayo.  Officers will be conducting DUI saturation patrols on Sunday, May 5th in an effort to reduce the number of persons killed or injured in alcohol involved crashes.
