APD Daily Report 08/05/14
In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 110 calls for service and arrested 13 people.
Good News – On 08/04 Officers recovered the blue and white Flyscooter motorscooter stolen from the 200 block of Garden Gate La between 08/03 and 08/04. Officers found it abandoned in the 1400 block of Tyler Av. The scooter was returned to the owner.
Burglary – 201400003920 – 100 block of Rosewood St – 08/03 at 8pm to 08/04 at 5:45am: A red Craftsman self propelled walk behind lawn mower, an orange Stihl backpack blower, and a 2.5 gallon red plastic gas can were stolen from a garage.
Attempted Thefts from Vehicles – 201400003928, 3938 – Unit block of Silverwood Cir – 08/03 at 10pm to 08/04 at 11am: Two apparently unlocked vehicles were entered, but nothing was stolen from either vehicle.
Burglary – 201400003935 – 700 block of Childs Point Rd – 08/04 from 3pm to 6pm: A blue Specialized girl’s road bicycle and a green and white Diamondback boy’s trick bicycle were stolen from an open garage.
Watch Your Bike Program – Now Register Online!
In July, 21 bicycles were reported stolen in Annapolis. The Annapolis Police Department has a Watch Your Bike program. Mark your calendars for National Night Out 2014. It will be held tonight, Tuesday, August 5 from 5pm to 8pm at the Annapolis Walk Community Park at 1701 Belle Drive. No Citizen Fingerprinting in August
The Annapolis Police Department will not be conducting citizen fingerprinting in August. Citizen fingerprinting will resume Monday, September 8 at 5pm.
