APD Daily Report 07/09/14

In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 102 calls for service and arrested 12 people.

Attempted Theft from Vehicle – 201400003399 – 1300 block of McKinley St - 07/08 at 1am:  An observant neighbor saw a man getting out of his neighbor’s vehicle and confronted him.  The suspect fled the area on foot.  The neighbor alerted the vehicle owners.  The vehicle owners reported this incident to police on 07/08 at 8pm.  Two unlocked vehicles were entered, but nothing was reported stolen from either. 

Burglary – 201400003402 – 700 block of Newtowne Dr – 07/08 from 9:10am to 11:30am:  Two gold women’s watches, a yellow gold rope necklace, a black butterfly ring, and prescription medication were stolen from a home.  There was no sign of forced entry.
