APD Daily Report 07/03/14
In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 98 calls for service and arrested 13 people.
Theft of Bicycles – 201400003295 – Unit block of Melrob Ct – 07/02 from 1am to 8am: A black Mongoose mountain bicycle and a blue and white Huffy mountain bicycle were stolen from the patio of an apartment. Neither bicycle was secured.
Burglary – 201400003296 – Unit block of Link St – 07/01 at 9pm to 07/02 at 7:45am: A 40 gallon wet/dry vacuum cleaner and a large yellow and black Diebold heavy duty radio were stolen from a locked shed. The lock to the shed was cut off to gain access.
Annapolis 4th of July Celebration
The Annapolis July 4th parade will begin on 07/04 at 6:30pm at Amos Garret Blvd and proceed down West St, around Church Circle, and down Main St to end at the City Dock. Following the parade, the United States Naval Academy Concert Band will perform a public concert at Susan Campbell Park at 8pm. The fireworks display will begin at 9:15pm. Spa Creek Bridge will be closed to vehicle traffic beginning at 9pm for spectators to view the fireworks. City of Annapolis government offices will be closed Friday, July 4.
