In the last 72 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 338 calls for service and arrested 36 people.
Good News – On 06/22 Antonio McKinney, 21, of Annapolis was arrested for the burglary that occurred between 06/08 at 11:15pm and 06/09 at 3:30pm in the unit block of Church Circle. A storage shed was broken into and alcohol was stolen. McKinney was charged with second and fourth degree burglary and two counts of theft. He is being held at the Jennifer Road Detention Center on $25,000 bond.
Theft of Bicycles – 201400003074 – Unit block of West St – 06/20 from 3pm to 9pm: Two bicycles were stolen when they were left unsecured. Both bicycles were recovered by officers and returned to the owner. An 11 year old boy and a 14 year old boy, both from Annapolis, were riding the bicycles. They were charged with theft and released to their guardian.
Watch Your Bike Program
There were 21 bicycles stolen in Annapolis in May. The Annapolis Police Department has a Watch Your Bike program. The program records your bicycle's serial number, manufacturer, and color in our database. Annapolis residents can contact Cpl.
