APD Daily Report 06/05/14

In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 71 calls for service and arrested 8 people.

Theft from Vehicle – 201400002786 – 400 block of Second St – 06/03 at 6pm to 06/04 at 6am:  A Briggs and Riley roller suitcase, a grey HP laptop computer, an Apple iPad in a brown case, and a T Mobile wireless hot spot were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.   

Neighborhood Watch Meeting
The next Neighborhood Watch meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 10, from 6:30pm to 8pm at Annapolis Police Headquarters, 199 Taylor Avenue.  This meeting will include an overview of the recent heroin arrests and a presentation on the sovereign citizen movement.  As usual, we will also go over current crime trends.  Food will be served so please RSVP to Sgt. Watch Your Bike Program
There were 21 bicycles stolen in Annapolis in May.  The Annapolis Police Department has a Watch Your Bike program.  The program records your bicycle's serial number, manufacturer, and color in our database.  Annapolis residents can contact Cpl. Craig Medley at 410-268-9000 ext. 7225 or cemedley@annapolis.gov for more information.  Neighborhood associations can contact Cpl. Medley if they want to hold a community registration.
