In the last 72 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 310 calls for service and arrested 38 people.
Good News – On 03/16 officers arrested Terrill Furbush, 34, of Annapolis for the burglary and assault that occurred in the unit block of Bens Dr on 03/12 at 8:20pm. On that date the adult resident of the apartment returned home and discovered her front door slightly open. When she entered the apartment she was confronted by a male subject. At first the man said he was leaving, but after the resident told him she had called the police, he said he wasn’t leaving, displayed a handgun, and pushed the resident to the floor. The man then fled the apartment before police arrived. Through investigation Detectives identified Furbush as the suspect in this case. Furbush was arrested and charged with first and second degree assault, reckless endangerment, fourth degree burglary, handgun on person, and use of a firearm in a violent crime. He is being held at the Jennifer Road Detention Center without bond.

Theft – 201400001247 – Unit block of Clay St – Unknown day and time: Four metal fire department standpipe covers were stolen from the business. The total cost to replace the covers is approximately $1,000.
Burglary – 201400001270 – Unit block of Market Space – 03/15 from 2:30am to 3am: Money was taken from a safe belonging to the business. There was no sign of forced entry.
Theft from Vehicle – 201400001278 – 400 block of Hammond Pl – 03/16 from 12:30am to 12:45am: A makeup bag was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.
Burglary – 201400001282 – Unit block of Sandstone Ct – 03/15 at 10:30pm to 03/16 at 9:30am: A ground floor window was forced open and a 60” Sharp LCD flat screen TV was stolen from the residence.
