APD Daily Report 10/29/13
In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 99 calls for service and arrested 12 people.
Good News – On 10/26 Annapolis Police Department collected over 35 pounds of unwanted prescription and non-prescription medication during the Drug Enforcement Administration’s National Take-Back Initiative. If you missed this event Anne Arundel County Police Department has permanently installed medication drop-off boxes at each district station. The closest district to Annapolis is Southern District at 35 Stepneys La in Edgewater.
There are no preventable Part One offenses to report this morning. Part One offenses are those incidents we report to the MD State Police and the F.B.I. These incidents include homicides, robberies, burglaries, rapes, serious assaults, and thefts.
Starting November 1, 2013 citizen fingerprinting will be offered Mondays from 5pm to 8pm instead of Tuesdays.
