APD Daily Report 09/26/13
In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 101 calls for service and arrested 13 people.
Theft of Scooter – 201300004642 – Unit block of Compromise St – 09/21 at 3:15am: A black 2009 Yamaha 49cc motor scooter was stolen from the parking lot of a business. Video surveillance showed a man accompanied by a woman pushing the scooter out of the parking lot. Go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yAMZiuSlTLk to view the video of the suspects. On 09/26 the scooter was recovered behind the 1100 block of Frederick Douglass St. The ignition to the scooter was damaged.
Thefts from Vehicles – 201300004638 – 1900 block of West St – 09/24 at 8:30pm to 09/25 at 7:30am: Several wrecked vehicles stored in a body shop lot had parts stolen from them. The air bag and steering wheel were stolen from a Ford Mustang. All four wheels were stolen from a Honda Odyssey and a Nissan Murano. The air bag and two front wheels were taken from a Toyota Scion. The Toyota’s window was broken to gain entry to the vehicle, the other vehicles were unlocked.
Starting November 1, 2013 citizen fingerprinting will be offered Mondays from 5pm to 8pm instead of Tuesdays.
