APD Daily Report 09/25/13

In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 98 calls for service and arrested 14 people.

Theft of Bicycle – 201300004606 – 900 block of West St – 09/23 from 2:15pm to 3:15pm:  A dark green Surly Pacer 20 speed men’s bicycle with a neon green seat was stolen from the rear of the building.  The bicycle was left unsecured.

Theft of Bicycles – 201300004612 – Unit block of Amberstone Ct – 09/23 at 8:45pm to 09/24 at 6:40am:  A red and black Trek bicycle and light blue Schwinn bicycle were stolen from the back yard of a residence.  The bicycles were secured with a lock which was cut.

Theft of Bicycles – 201300004622 – 700 block of Glenwood St – 09/23 at 5pm to 09/24 at 3:30pm:  A maroon and brown men’s road bicycle with two bottle holders and foot clip pedals and a purple and blue girl’s mountain bicycle were stolen from a bike rack in the rear of the apartment building.  The bicycles were secured with locks which were cut.

Armed Robbery – 201300004635 – 1100 block of Frederick Douglass St – 09/24 10:50pm:  A man was walking to his vehicle when he was grabbed from behind by a man wearing black clothing and a mask.  The man started fighting the suspect, but another man approached also wearing black clothing and a mask and pointing a handgun.  The suspects removed the man’s black Nike boots, his socks, and his shorts, which contained his wallet.  The suspects took the boots and shorts and fled on foot towards President St.

Citizen Fingerprinting
Starting November 1, 2013 citizen fingerprinting will be offered Mondays from 5pm to 8pm instead of Tuesdays.
