APD Daily Report 08/21/13

In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 74 calls for service and arrested 10 people.

Theft from Boat – 201300003915 – 300 block of Rogers Heights Rd – 08/06 at 4pm to 08/19 at 2:40pm:  Items were stolen from a boat attached to a community dock.

Theft from Vehicle – 201300003919 – 200 block of Bloomsbury Sq – 08/19 from 11:40am to 12:01pm:  A wallet was stolen from the center console of an unlocked vehicle.

Theft of Kayak – 201300003935 – 600 block of Americana Dr – 08/09 at 5pm to 08/16 at 4:30pm:  A yellow six foot Sea Sense kayak was stolen from the dock storage area.  The kayak was not secured in any way.

Annapolis Police Department One Mile Challenge
The APD One Mile Challenge to benefit Special Olympics Maryland will be held on Saturday, September 7th starting at 8am.  This is a scenic 1 mile run through historic downtown.  Participants can run, jog, or walk. Dogs and strollers are welcome.  You can register at www.annapolis1mile.com

Special Olympics Maryland provides free sports training and competition programs for intellectually disabled children and adults year round.  These programs increase the participant’s social skills and self-confidence.  The programs also improve their health and well-being.  To find out more about Special Olympics Maryland go to www.somd.org.  If you can’t participate in the APD One Mile Challenge to benefit Special Olympics Maryland please consider sponsoring someone for this worthy, very helpful cause.
