APD Daily Report 07/31/13
In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 97 calls for service and arrested 12 people.
Theft from Vehicle – 201300003567 – 300 block of Burnside St – 07/29 at 8pm to 07/30 at 7:30am: A Stihl hedge trimmer and leaf blower, two Echo grass trimmers, and a large grey metal tool box containing tools were stolen from the rear seat of a truck. The truck’s windows were left unlatched.
Vehicle Equipment Repair Orders
Beginning August 1, 2013 Annapolis Police Department will conduct vehicle equipment repair order inspections Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm at 199 Taylor Av. If you need to have a repair order inspection completed please respond to Annapolis Police Department during those times.
National Night Out 2013
Mark your calendars for National Night Out 2013. It will be held on Tuesday, August 6 from 4pm to 7pm at the Boys and Girls Club of Annapolis at 121 South Villa Avenue. Annapolis Police Department One Mile Challenge
The APD One Mile Challenge to benefit Special Olympics Maryland will be held on Saturday, September 7th starting at 8am. This is a scenic 1 mile run through historic downtown. Participants can run, jog, or walk. Dogs and strollers are welcome. You can register at www.annapolis1mile.com.
Special Olympics Maryland provides free sports training and competition programs for intellectually disabled children and adults year round. These programs increase the participant’s social skills and self-confidence. The programs also improve their health and well-being.
