APD Daily Report 07/22/13
In the last 72 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 292 calls for service and arrested 24 people.
Shooting – 201300003333 – 1100 block of Madison St – 07/16 at 3:30pm: Anne Arundel Medical Center contacted Annapolis Police Department to report a gun shot victim at the hospital. Officers responded and spoke to an adult male who had been shot in the right foot. The man told officers that he was dropping off a fare in the 1100 block of Madison St when he was approached by a subject who struck him in the face. He heard a gun shot and was struck in the foot.
Theft of Bicycle – 201300003374 – 900 block of Breakwater Dr – 07/18 from 1:30am to 8am: A white Mongoose bicycle was stolen from the rear bed of a pick up truck. The officer taking the report looked for the bicycle and found it abandoned in the unit block of Bens Dr.
Burglary – 201300003380 – 1300 block of Tyler Av – 07/18 from 7am to 9pm: An Oleva 32” LCD flat screen TV, LG 50” LCD flat screen TV, Panasonic DVD player, XBOX Kinect and Nintendo Wii game consoles, and Dell laptop computer were stolen from an apparently unlocked residence.
Theft from Vehicle – 201300003386 – 1000 block of Spa Rd – 07/18 at 9:30pm to 07/19 at 4am: A black leather purse was stolen from an apparently unlocked vehicle. Some of the contents of the purse were later recovered abandoned in the 400 block of Merryman Rd.
Burglary – 201300003390 – Unit block of State Cir – 07/18 at 6pm to 07/19 at 12pm: Money was taken from the business. A front window was broken to gain entry.
Burglary – 201300003394 – Unit block of Edelmar Dr – 07/19 from 10:30am to 2pm: An HP laptop computer and Canon digital camera were stolen from an apparently unlocked residence.
Burglary – 201300003395 – Unit block of Hearthstone Ct – 07/19 from 10am to 3:45pm: XBOX 360 and Playstation 3 game consoles, video games, a safe containing money and jewelry, and prescription medication were taken from an apartment after the front door was forced open.
Theft from Vehicle – 201300003397 – 1000 block of Spa Rd – 07/18 from 9pm to 07/19 at 7:30am: A pair of Apple earbuds were taken from an apparently unlocked vehicle.
Theft from Vehicle – 201300003401 – 600 block of Skipjack Ct – 07/19 from 12am to 8am: Money and CDs were taken from an apparently unlocked vehicle.
Theft of Bicycles – 201300003405 – Unit block of Chelsea Ct – 07/19 from 9:15pm to 5:30am: An electric blue Next women’s bicycle and a blue Huffy women’s bicycle with black wheel spokes, a black wire basket, and white seat with polka dots were stolen from the rear yard.
Burglary – 201300003406 – Unit block of Heritage Ct – 07/19 at 7:30pm to 07/20 at 2:30am: A Samsung Galaxy Note cell phone was stolen from a residence. Entry was gained by forcing open a ground floor window on the front of the home.
Theft of Bicycle – 201300003409 – 1700 block of Forest Dr – 07/20 at 11:50am: An unsecured red Mongoose bicycle was stolen from in front of business. The officer located the juvenile suspect and recovered the bicycle in the 800 block of Betsy Ct. The suspect, a 13 year old boy, was charged on a juvenile citation with theft and destruction of property.
Burglary – 201300003415 – Unit block of Bunche St – 07/18 at 2pm to 07/20 at 6:15pm: A locked shed was broken into, but the owner is unsure if anything was taken.
Theft from Vehicle - 201300003417 – 1400 block of Hunting Wood Rd – 07/19 at 11pm to 07/20 at 7:30am: Black Prada sunglasses and money were taken from an unlocked vehicle.
Theft from Vehicle – 201300003419 – Unit block of Ashford Ct – 07/19 at 8pm to 07/20 at 2:30pm: Money was taken from an unlocked vehicle.
Burglary – 201300003426 – Unit block of East St – 07/20 at 1pm to 07/21 at 9:40am: An Apple iPad was stolen from a residence. The home was entered though an unlocked bathroom window.
